  5. As you may well have realised by now, this is a complete piss-take.
  6.  
  7. The inspiration behind it came from a little racing game by Armin Harich
  8. I found on the Assassins CD-ROM. I have included it in this demo for the
  9. curious ones among you.
  10.  
  11. The graphics were originally in Hi-Res Laced, but had to be scaled down
  12. to fit on one disk. Also the last time I did a slideshow in laced, you 
  13. couldn't read the text on a non-scart TV.
  14.  
  15. The screens were simply grabbed from the English TV show GamesMaster, as 
  16. were the samples (most were too large to include in the mod).
  17.  
  18. I can't write mods to save my life, so I used one that I found laying around
  19. on my HD, and added some Ridge Racer samples (unashamedly lame I know!).
  20. The guy who wrote it goes by the name of `Slaze of Defiance' (sounds hard!),
  21. so if you're out there `Slaze', I'm truly sorry and please don't kill me.
